If you would like the personal data we hold about you deleted, email us at info@gmipremium.com from the address on your account, or tell us which account it relates to.
We will respond within one month. There is no charge. We may need to verify your identity first, so that nobody can request the deletion of someone else’s account.
We do not sell your personal data. We use a number of third-party services to run the platform — hosting, payments, email, content delivery and AI — and every one of them is named in our Privacy Policy, which also sets out what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
What we cannot delete. Where the law requires us to keep something, we must. In practice this means payment and transaction records, which we are obliged to retain for six years from the end of the relevant financial year. Everything else — your account, your saved work, your community posts and any questions you have asked Ask Thomas Balfour — is removed from our live systems when you ask. Copies may persist in routine backups until those are overwritten in the normal cycle.
You also have other rights over your data, including the right to a copy of it, the right to have mistakes corrected, and the right to object to certain uses. These are set out in full in our Privacy Policy.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
