I’ve pushed some substantial changes across four core areas of the platform today: Chord Lab, Cycle Wheel, Chord Architect, and the underlying audio engine. These aren’t cosmetic tweaks — the audio engine rewrite in particular has been a long time coming, and it underpins everything you hear across the platform, so getting that right matters. Expect cleaner playback, better voicing rendering, and more accurate guitar-range output.
Chord Lab and Chord Architect have both had significant functional changes — more control over how chords are built, displayed, and interrogated. The Cycle Wheel updates tie into that, making it more useful as an actual harmonic navigation tool rather than just a reference diagram. I’ll have more specific breakdowns of each area in the app notes, but if you work seriously with harmony and chord construction, it’s worth getting back in and having a look at what’s changed.
