A significant round of updates has just landed across GMI Premium, and it’s worth knowing what’s changed. Chord Lab and Chord Architect have both had substantial work done — better logic, tighter interaction, and some things that weren’t quite right have been fixed. The Audio Engine has been overhauled, which underpins everything that makes sound on the platform, so you should notice improvements across the board in playback quality and responsiveness. Sketchpad and Progression Lab have also seen meaningful changes, not cosmetic ones.
On the new content side, Cycle Wheel and Structure Lab both have new files in. Structure Lab in particular is an area I’ve been wanting to expand for a while — the material there is getting more substantial and practical. Diatonic Key Builder and Practice Studio round out the updates, both improved in ways that should make your working sessions more focused. It’s a lot of ground covered in one push, so take your time exploring what’s changed.
